Helloooooooooo Hammerheads,  

It's that time of year when the afternoon thunderstorms start rolling in.

How this affects practice:   If it is only raining and the bottom of the pool is visible, we will still have practice.  If there is lightning, we will not be able to swim for 30 minutes from the last lightning strike (I use the WeatherBug app and look at the Spark lightning strikes). If one practice is canceled due to weather, please do not assume all practices that day will be canceled. Once the weather clears, we'll resume with regularly scheduled practices.  Please do not send your child to the pool (walking or bike) if lightning is in the area. If swimmers rode bikes to the pool and storms roll in, Coach Susan will not allow the kids to ride home and will wait with them until all swimmers are picked up.  Thank you for helping us keep all our Hammerheads safe!
