Helloooooooo Hammerheads!   

It's almost time for our season to begin! Whoop Whoop!   (The season of long emails from Coach Susan where she tries to cram a lot of info into just one email!  LOL so yes, read the whole thing! ).  Lots is happening with our wonderful volunteer board members to get us ready for our April 19th start date!     If you are a previous Hammerhead getting this email, and aren't able to come back to the team, we'll miss you!   Once registration is closed you won't get any more emails from us.  But tell your friends we're here!

Practice Times:  Please double check practice times on the website.  Please watch the instructional videos on the website on how to put on caps and goggles.   Please get goggles and practice caps ordered from our SwimOutlet store on the website, or your preferred sports spot.    Lots of info is on our website!  Including the board gmail address if you have registration or volunteer questions.  
To our older age group swimmers:   This year, we are asking that any swimmers interested in becoming a Jr. Coach and/or a Swim Meet Buddy (new position), register for the team and apply using the form attached.   It is a great way to earn volunteer service hours (these are volunteer, not paid positions) for Bright Futures or for college applications.  It is also a great reference for future job applications.   We love our teenage helpers and they are a vital part of our team.   Jr. Coaches must have experience on the Hammerhead swim team, have shown good character traits, and hopefully you have some special talent to share with the team!   Swim Meet Buddies is a new role and will help our younger swimmers have awesome meet experiences with one of the 'big kids' cheering them on and getting them through their events.   *Please see form attached, complete or scan and email it to Coach Susan at:  [email protected]

Registration:  is still open!  We have some more spots available and would love to have your friends and neighbors join us!

Social Media: **Don't forget to like us on Facebook and/or Instagram!   Ms. Livi has been keeping us busy providing us with stretches and exercises to get ready for the pool!    

SwimTopia app:   Please download the SwimTopia app (see logo on website to select correct one) and please allow alerts!  This helps if we have to cancel practice due to weather or any last minute changes can be pushed out.   You'll want this once we starts meets so you can see your swimmers' events and times.   

Emails:  If your teenager checks their own email, please make sure it is listed in their profile.

Can't wait to see all our returning, and new, Hammerheads on deck starting Tuesday, April 19th!
