Heat sheet and entry list for 7.9.22

Good evening Hammerheads,

What to bring: Check the News feed on our team page, about what to bring to swim meets. Our expected time line is 8-12, but if the meet runs late, it will end by 1:00pm.

Welcome: We will have two food trucks, Late Risers and Kona Ice! Please bring your own water and snacks. It has been very HOT so make sure you bring LOTS of water.

ParkingPARKING, PARKING, PARKING: I can't stress this enough. If you live inside Heritage Landing, we really, really, really need you to drive up and drop off your stuff at amenity center, then drive the car home and ride a bike, skateboard, or ask a neighbor who is headed that way to drop you back off at the amenity center. Parking issues always get us in trouble with the CDD/amenity center. We need your help to leave as many spots available as possible. If you have friends that live near the pool, please ask to park in their driveways and walk over. If you are coming from outside the neighborhood.

Tent City (where to sit): Tent City will be located in the open field located at the south end of the pool. Please use the back gate only to enter/exit the pool. The pool deck will be for viewing races only. All tents and personal belongings must be set up in the field.

Also, please note that NO HAMMERHEAD SWIMMERS are allowed in rec pool during a swim meet. You must wait until after the meet to play in the water. Parents - I am busy during the meet, please help police this if you can!

Timeline:

  • Arrive: 6:40 a.m. *check in with Jr. Coach Gabby at the gate coming in
  • Warm Ups are 6:45 - 7:20 for Hammerheads
  • Visiting Team warms up at 7:20 - 7:50
  • Team Cheers at 7:50
  • National Anthem at 7:55

*if your 8&under swimmer opts to not warm up, please arrive no later than 7:30 so I'm not panicking for relays.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Coach Susan, at 904-945-6564.

Goooooooooooo Hammerheads!

Thank you,

Ashley Chambers
