Thanks to the strong early interest in officials training, we’ve added multiple additional training opportunities across the league to help teams get fully staffed and ready for the season.

Officials Training Schedule

May 7 – Heritage Landing Amenity Center (“Heritage Room”)

• 6:00 PM – Stroke & Turn Judge

May 14 – Aberdeen Amenity Center

• 6:00 PM – Stroke & Turn Judge
• Starter & HMO training will immediately follow

Important Notes:

• For sessions offering multiple roles, Stroke & Turn Judge training will be held during the first hour, with Starter and HMO training immediately following.
• Volunteers only need to attend one session per role they are interested in, but you are welcome to attend multiple sessions.
• We strongly encourage new and returning volunteers to participate—these roles are critical to running successful meets.
• Complete the League mandated Background Check [stjohnssummerswimleague.swimtopia.com]to qualify your training to become an official.
